Posted February 15, 2020 03:01:20In the summer of 2019, Walt Disney Imagineers, Bob Iger and Bob Chapek, were talking about the future of Disney’s iconic Hollywood Studios.
They were planning a project that would feature music themed rooms, which would take the form of a room where guests would be able to listen to music in a music-themed way.
In November 2020, they announced the construction of a music themed space at the Hollywood Studios Resort, located in the Orlando area.
A full-size music themed music room would feature a massive sound system and a huge stage, a large stage, and multiple music panels to host live music.
This is not the first time that Disney Imagineering has used the idea of music themed spaces.
Earlier this year, Imagineers created an entire “music” themed room at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park called Music-A-Live.
This music themed theater featured the sounds of various live performances as well as music from the Imagineering team’s upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
As part of their project, Imagineer Steve Schreiber also created a music area called The Sound and a new music themed area at the Walt Disney World Resort, featuring live music from Imagineering and Imagineering Studios.
