More News.au article Music lovers are in for a treat with Australia’s latest album collection, which has already been unveiled by the country’s major banks.
As part of the first release of a new album by Melbourne rockers, The Mornings, which also features the likes of The Killers, Coldplay and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Banks Music Room in Brisbane will hold the collection, along with other albums by the likes to Big Thief, The Kinks, The Smiths and more.

The Banks Music room is the latest in a series of major releases that have been announced by the banks, as they aim to add more and more value to their customers’ music collections.
Banks chief executive officer Mark Wylie said the Banks Collection was a “big deal”.
“It comes at a time when people are becoming increasingly interested in music, especially in the digital realm, and we think this album is a big deal for the bank,” he said.
“The Banks Collection will help us to expand the breadth of the digital music collection.”
Mr Wylio added the Banks Library would be “a place for people to find music, art, music videos, and all the great music from across Australia”.
“We’re also building a world-class collection of artworks and artworks in Australia and abroad,” he added.
“This is a unique opportunity for the Banks and for the community.”
Mr Dyer said the album would be available to view via a number of Banks stores across the country.
“I think we’ve got the right music, the right art, and the right people in place to bring this album to life,” he told the ABC.
“There’s nothing like the Banks in the world of music and art.”
The album will feature collaborations between artists including the Kinks’ Mick Fleetwood, Cold-Hardcore band the Black Angels, and British-American soul outfit, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
“Music is the lifeblood of the world and we’ve been able to capture the best musicians in the business with this album,” Mr Wyli said.
